Are there any pre-paid wireless broadband laptop cards?

I am taking a trip in a couple of days, and I was wondering if there are any laptop broadband cards (weather it be a card of USB it does not matter). For, like 5-10 day usage. Kind of like a tracphone.

I know what you mean, but unfortunatly there is no such product at the moment.

Your only option is to sign up for a wireless plan at a carrier like AT&T or Sprint and use that.

Mobile Broadband Dongles

One of the first types of broadband devices you can get for a laptop is the mobile dongle. The dongle is essentially a small piece of hardware, portable and small, that connects to your computer. This device acts as the link between your laptop and your wireless carrier’s Internet towers.

When you’re looking for a mobile dongle for wireless broadband, you’ll naturally have several to choose from. Each dongle comes with a specific package that offers varying Internet speeds and data usage. For example, Orange offers a ‘Dolphin’ laptop dongle that can give you speeds up to 7.2Mbps with a 1GB usage limit. The minimum contract length for the Orange Dolphin mobile dongle is 18 months and monthly service charges total approximately 15.00.
