I checked with my computer tech on which brand he recommended, and he said this Gateway was hard to beat for the price. I purchased it and have been very happy with it. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in replacing their old notebook or PC. My computer tech said this Gateway seldom needs any repairs, but they are easy for him to repair, or upgrade. This laptop is much faster than my old notbook and PC. It has a much larger hard drive, better, web camera, Intel processor, etc.

Just got this here, ordered on the 12th of december and got it in 2 days, great shipping, 2 days early! wow, but laptop is awesome, way better than my 4 year old hp. loads and is ready to use in 40 seconds, microsoft 7 is a dream compaired to vista, would never use vista again. screen and brightness is amazing. Gateway NV79C51u can wait to run it through my plasma to veiw photos and video. all in all a great buy and am mad at myself for not doing it sooner, if you want and affordable laptop this is it, its 17 inch screen is great, laptop is a little heavy, but can deal with it, doesnt get as hot as my hp either. would recommend this to all!
