DAYTON, OH, Nov 28, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Cables To Go and Fairmont Raffles Hotels International (FRHI), the parent company of the Fairmont, Raffles and Swissotel brands, today announced an agreement whereby Cables To Go will be the approved provider of connectivity panels in more than 10,000 guestrooms for the global hotel company. TruLink(R) Media Gateway, which will be deployed at new builds and hotels undertaking renovation programs, allows guests to easily use their personal devices and equipment for multimedia sharing and in-room entertainment.

Hotel guests simply connect their personal media device to TruLink Media Gateway, which then automatically detects the port being used, selects the HDMI input on the in-room TV and transmits the content. TruLink Media Gateway provides plug-and-play connectivity to allow guests to connect their laptops, portable media devices, DVD or Blu-ray(TM) players, gaming consoles or similar equipment and display them on the high-definition TV. Smartphones and MP3 players can also be charged through the unit's USB port. Connection ports include HDMI, VGA, composite video, 3.5mm audio, USB, Ethernet, Apple(R) devices, MP3 players and power receptacles.

I've got a major problem with my laptop (less then a year old). It was running fine up till a month ago. As I launched a game, the screen turned off. I waited for a few minutes but it didn't come back on. I restarted it, and launched the game again, but the screen turned off before the loading was complete. I concluded that it was the game, so I uninstalled it. Rebooted, and all was fine for about 20 minutes, then the monitor turned off again. I suspected that there was a virus, so I formatted my HDD, installed just the basic programs and rebooted, but this time, the monitor didn't turn on at all. From the sounds I can hear, I seems that the computer itself keeps running, it's just the monitor that is 'stuffed'. I've tried hooking it up to my tv and desktop monitor, both remained blank. Well my Gateway LT series laptop is having problems i want to reset it to factory default. I tried doing the reset and F11 thing but it didnt work. Also every time i turn my laptop on something called Think Point pops up and says its going to restore everything i have on the computer. Please help me because i want my laptop back to normal.
