Fujitsu Aims to Rank Among Taiwan's Top 10 NB PC Brands This Year

Taipei, Nov. 28, 2011 (CENS)--The Japan-based Fujitsu Ltd., the largest notebook PC vendor in the country, aims to push up its market share in Taiwan to 1-2% to squeeze into the top 10 notebook PC brand list this year, and has revealed an intention to reinforce partnership with its Taiwanese contract suppliers in the years to come.

William On, associate director of Fujitsu’s PC business development and marketing in Asia Pacific, cited survey findings issued by IDC (International Data Corp.) as saying that his company remained the largest brand in terms of notebook PC sales in Japan in the first quarter of this year. Compared to its prosperity at home, Fujitsu, however, commanded only a share of less than 1% in Taiwan last year, locked out of the top 10 brand list.

What is the difference between a Fujitsu notebook and a Futijsu Siemens notebook?

I've noticed that some notebooks that are meant to be Fujitsu Siemens just have "Fujitsu" as their logo instead of "Fujitsu Siemens". Is there a difference between these? Any feedback would be highly appreciated!

They are exactly the same. Futijsu Siemens no longer exists, it is now simply Fujitsu.
