Dell Xps 16

Would the OS disk from my Dell xps 16 work on my toshiba laptop?

So basically I just bought a new Dell XPS 16 laptop that comes with windows 7. The disk itself says "ReinstallationDVD windows 7 premium 64-bit". Does this disk contain a genuine windows 7 copy. Like could I use it to install windows 7 on another

reinstallation disks will only work with the computer they were shipped with. the disk references files on that computer specifically. you would need a new install disk for the other computer.
