How can I take a pic on dell 1525 Inspiron laptop OS vista?

I have a Windows Vista Home Premium OS, in a lap top of Dell, Inspiron 1525.
Can someone tell me how to take pictures on this lap top? Camera is built in.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 running Windows Vista Home Premium. A few days ago, when I logged into my laptop, it was extremely slow and froze up within 5-10 minutes of turning on. Lately, the laptop doesn't even reach the log-in screen. It just freezes at a black screen (with the cursor visible and movable). I would do a flat-out reinstallation, but we have have extremely important documents on this laptop. Does anyone know what to do? Thanks in advance.
