Dealing problem with installing window XP into BenQ r47..?

I jz bought a new laptop.. the model is BenQ R47.. As i open my computer, i have found that there is a linux OS which is called Linpus inside..

THen, i put my window xp install CD inside my computer.. i had made couple of changes in Bios

did you delete the partition?
delete the partition and then let windows re-partition the hard dirve
