Asus F3 problem? HELP!!!?

In a new bought Asus F3 notebook , when I start it iit says ˝Reboot and select proper Boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key˝
when i put the CD nothing happens??!!
It is a new computer, and i havent started

You could try to fix it yourself, and it sounds fixable, but I say "WHY BOTHER?"

You forked out to buy it brand new so get 'them' to fix it. Contact the retailer and tell em of the fault. They will either fix it for you for
