    The NEW new laptop from the back Well... here's the back of the new laptop that's replacing the new laptop. Apparently the ASUS desktop's processor decided to fail, causing its hard drive to become corrupted. Luckily, this one's turned out to be a great deal (and it looks great!).

Asus laptop A2D Hard Drive is dying. How can I replace it?

The dreaded start up S.M.A.R.T. message "Pri Master HD SMART status BAD. Back up and replace" has appeared a few times after a few hiccups requiring chkdsk /r. How do I (a) source a new drive and (b) copy a mirror image to the new drive?

Fine dze but you did not answer how to "mirror" the drives which is what he asked. 7500 points and just 11% as Best Answers, now we know why.

Do as post above to replace the old drive. To "mirror" you would need to get
