Hey guys, I just got my Asus Eee PC 1005HAB in the mail today so forgive my ignorance on the product. So far I’m thrilled with it and I’m already trying to find different ways to customize it to my liking as much as possible. I wanted to buy a skin for it online at skinit.com but I noticed that in the “Choose Your Device” section under “Asus” they only have an option for an “Asus Eee PC 1005A”…my question is, are the dimensions or what not for a “1005A” the same as for my 1005HAB? Again, excuse my ignorance, I just don’t want to purchase a skin that wont fit the dimensions of my computer.
Also, I noticed that the top of the computer also has “Eee” basically engraved on it. Would this be a problem for applying a skin? Since computer skins are basically like stickers, I assume they work best, and maybe even work only, when applied to a flat surface, or will the engraved “Eee” not be an issue when I apply my skin? Maybe someone with a 1005HAB like me or any laptop with some sort of ridged logo can tell me if applying a skin over it is a problem or not.
