    PowerBook G4 17-inch This was the toy that I originally wanted. Of course it would have been great to get a MacBook Pro but they take forever to get through the seeding program. I just want to prove that I can use a Mac for our web development and a laptop is really what I want.

Can a screen be repaired on a computer?

My computer is a Mac PowerBook G4 17inch 1.5Ghz and it has 21 vertical pixel lines on it and I want to know if the screen can be fixed or if I have to get another screen.

You have to replace it. I got a replacement for my thinkpad on ebay.
