How to enable sound on laptop (Acer Aspire 1680)?

I try to change the volume and is impossible, its like there are no drivers for the sound and it always say "There are no active mixers available on my laptop" when I troubleshoot it. The speakers are fine, I just cant enable the sound. Weird
