Can OSX be installed on an HP ENVY 17-1181NR (Hackintosh)?

Amazon has a great deal on a 17" laptop computer that is probably half of what Apple would charge for a similar Mac Book Pro.

Unfortunately I don't think this is going to be a good candidate for a hackintosh. The ati mobility is the problem. There is no full support for mobility ati graphics. Read up on it. I have a site that I have been helping people with Hackintoshes at http://www.flynflip.com
